Oscar Wilde Biography

Oscar Wilde was a famous Irish writer, poet, and playwright who became one of the most celebrated storytellers of the 1800s.

Known for his bright green coats, velvet suits, and sparkling sense of humor, he believed that life should be filled with beautiful art, wonderful clothes, and lots of laughter.He wrote everything from magical, touching fairy tales for children to incredibly funny theater plays for adults.

One of his most famous stories is The Selfish Giant. In the story, there is a giant with a beautiful garden full of trees. During spring and summer, the children play in the garden. They sit under the trees and enjoy the fruit, like a peach. Sometimes twelve children visit the garden together.
