Hello, everyone! My name is Cupid. I am the god of love. I use my magical bow and arrows to make people fall in love. I am the son of Venus, the goddess of beauty and love. One day, I met a beautiful girl named Psyche, and I fell deeply in love with her. Although we faced many challenges, I never stopped loving her. In the end, our love won, and we stayed together forever.

Good morning! I am Venus, the goddess of love and beauty. People admire me because I am very beautiful. One day, I became jealous of a young woman named Psyche because everyone said she was more beautiful than me. I asked my son Cupid to make her fall in love with a terrible monster, but instead, he fell in love with her. I gave Psyche many difficult tasks, but she completed them with courage. Finally, I accepted their love.

Hi! My name is Psyche. I was a beautiful princess, and many people admired me. One day, I married Cupid, but I was not allowed to see his face. I made a mistake because I did not trust him, and we were separated. To prove my love, I completed many difficult tasks given by Venus. I never gave up because I truly loved Cupid. In the end, the gods rewarded me, and I became immortal. Cupid and I lived happily together forever.

Cupid:

Hello! I am Cupid, the god of love. My arrows can change people’s hearts forever. Love is powerful, and sometimes it brings happiness, but sometimes it brings challenges too.

Venus:

I am Venus, the goddess of love and beauty. Cupid is my son. Together, we help people discover love, kindness, and hope.

Scene 2: Venus Becomes Jealous

Narrator:

One day, everyone admired a beautiful young woman named Psyche. People said she was even more beautiful than Venus. This made Venus very jealous.

Venus:

How can people admire Psyche more than me? Cupid, I have a mission for you. Make her fall in love with the ugliest man in the world!

Cupid:

I will do as you ask, Mother.

Scene 3: Cupid Falls in Love

Narrator:

Cupid flew to find Psyche. As he prepared to shoot his arrow, he accidentally pricked himself with one of his golden arrows.

Cupid:

Oh no! I touched my own arrow! Now… I am in love with Psyche!

Psyche:

Who is there? I feel something strange, but I cannot see anyone.

Narrator:

Cupid secretly protected Psyche and took her to a beautiful palace. He visited her every night, but she was never allowed to see his face.

Scene 4: The Secret Is Revealed

Psyche:

I love the mysterious man who visits me every night, but I want to know who he really is.

Narrator:

One night, while Cupid was sleeping, Psyche lit a lamp to look at him.

Psyche:

He is so handsome! He is Cupid!

Narrator:

A drop of hot oil fell from the lamp onto Cupid’s shoulder.

You broke my trust, Psyche. Love needs honesty and faith. I must leave.

Narrator:

Psyche was heartbroken. She searched everywhere for Cupid. Venus finally agreed to help her only if Psyche completed several impossible tasks.

Venus:

If you truly love my son, prove your courage. Complete these difficult challenges.

Psyche:

Narrator:

With kindness, determination, and help from others, Psyche completed every task.

Scene 6: A Happy Ending

Narrator:

The gods admired Psyche’s bravery. Jupiter made her immortal so she could live forever with Cupid.
